About Cherie's Professional Background
I’m the founder of Beachwalk Pet Concierge™, a boutique, in-home pet care company thoughtfully created to simplify the lives of busy pet owners through dependable, personalized care at home. I grew up on a farm, where caring for animals was part of everyday life and responsibility was second nature. As a retired dental hygienist, I bring a refined attention to detail, a calm, professional presence, and a deep sense of responsibility into every home I serve, providing attentive, personalized care that prioritizes each pet’s comfort, routine, and emotional well-being in the place they feel most secure: home. I’ve been caring for pets for nearly four decades, beginning as a teenager, and it’s a respo I’ve always held with genuine care and respect.Cherie Weir, Founder of Beachwalk, is a licensed dental hygienist, resigning from that field in 2021 to start her dream of being a professional pet sitting business owner. She has had a deep love and passion for caring for animals since she was very young. While working as a hygienist, she studied at the Interior Design Institute. She commissioned work in interior decorating, hand painted furniture, instructing macramé classes, Sip & Shop sales events, and social media marketing for a landscaping company. In 2022, she completed Bob Hogue School of Real Estate, but found her true passion in a professional career caring for pets. Cherie is a level 2 volunteer for Cypress Woods Elementary. Throughout the years she has been known for impeccable client services, trustworthiness, a caring nature toward pet clients. For years she was a part of Italian Greyhound Rescue, Fostering & Placement Services. Cherie is certified by My CPR Now for Pet CPR and First Aid, is a Fear Free Certified Professional & a member of Pet Sitters International. She is bonded, insured, and level 2 background checked.
